A July 17th visit to the St. Peter's Graveyard to visit Dad's grave and place his new flowers.  Stephen and Floyd did some repairs to his site and Grandpa Jacks headstone while we were there. We did a walk about to visit other grandparents and relatives.  Rubber boots were required because of all the rain we had in June and July.

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, great story, easy read.  I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good book to read.  Happy reading!

Great Uncle Willie and Aunt Jeannie Burke.  Uncle Willie was Jack Burke's brother.  I don't have much information on Aunt Jeannie other that she was related to Johnnie Jack, the fiddle player from Red Islands. They had one daughter, Anne Cormier, who lives in Port Hawkesbury.

New Burke Family Blog Title Header

Good morning everyone.  I've been busy early this morning creating a new title header for the family blog.  Check it out along with the July updates.  Hope everyone has a great day, promises to be sunny and warm.

On April 28, 2020 I received my copies of Saltwater Mittens and Saltwater Classics books from Amazon. Amazing books, lots of information and lots of patterns.  On May 2, I started my first project from the Saltwater Classics book called the Moose Cap in Briggs and Little yarn finished the cap on May 5.

Canada Day 2020

Happy Canada Day family and friends.  We can't celebrate in the usual way this year because of the Covid-19 virus, but it's still a day to say think you to Canada and all Canadians.  Have an awesome day!

Another Anniversary

July 15 will be Dad's 37th Anniversary.  I am hoping to get as many brothers and sisters as I can to join me at the gravesite to place this years flowers and do a walk about of the sites to visit our relatives.  This outing depends on the weather, of course.  If it's raining or too hot, we will try another day in July.
